Recently Geospace Integra has bagged a project titled CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, GIS 313 PART B from GIS Centre, Dubai Municipality, in association with Emirates Computers and Gartner Lee, Canada. The bespoke web-based application facilitates consultants and contractors to coordinate with various departments of Dubai Municipality related to construction projects. The system is envisaged to administer through a website to submit and retrieve correspondences and to view the status of the projects. This application will be developed for implementation in accordance with the various standards being followed by over 10 departments for data input, storage and retrieval. The proposed solution includes all the aspects of this system that includes uploading, validation, reporting, retrieving, and viewing interface capabilities for different user types.
FME Objects/ CadCorp Suite is proposed to be employed for building this application. Other tools are Oracle 10g, ArcGIS and Microstation.
